Transliteration software

Transliteration (A transcription from one alphabet to another) software for Indian languages are budding all over the net. My favorite is the Microsoft Phonetic Input Tool. I recently stumbled upon this web based application, Quillpad. By default it transliterates from English to Hindi. It also does transliteration in Kannada, Malyalam, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi. It's great to use our native languages for digital communications.

உங்கள் வார இறுதி நன்றாக அமைய வாழ்த்துக்கள்

[If you're unable to properly view the above words, please install files for complex script and right-to-left languages in your Regional and Language Options control panel applet. It's in Tamizh and says, have a nice weekend]
